WHY? – The Problems

Misunderstood Knowledge: Knowledge is often mistaken as just grades or job security. But is it truly confined to that?
Limited Earning Avenues: Many undergraduate students wish to support their families or gain independence, but face barriers in an unstable job market where even graduates struggle.
Broken Tutoring Paradigm: Tutoring is seen as homework help or test prep. But isn’t it about nurturing curiosity and understanding, not just scoring high?

HOW? – The Story

At a time when I aspired for independence and meaningful work, I encountered endless scams while searching for freelance or tutoring jobs. I realized this wasn’t the path I envisioned.
Yes, excelling in academics is important—but so is learning with freedom and clarity.
Yes, staying focused on studies matters—but so does exploring one’s passions and individuality.

WHAT? – The Solution

BODH: A Learning Space – BODH, a learning space, started with the feature Academic Support Classes (ASC), where students get one-on-one personalized learning with practical explanations focusing on concept understanding.
Dual Focus – It is a space with unlimited guidance and support, where students can fuel their academic journey while following their interests in passion hours dedicated every week.
Empowering Talent – These benefits not only students but also young skilled minds, offering freelancing opportunities to the skilled and matching instructors with students based on their requirements.
360° Learning Evolution – BODH was initially dedicated to ASC, but soon it evolved into a 360-degree learning platform.

THE INITIAL STAGE – WHY NOW x Teaming Up

The idea was good, but what about execution? What would the results and consequences be? In all the confusion, I went to my close friends saying, “Let’s start a business.” I spoke to my family, saying, “I want to earn.” I took insights from trusted people.

“Why so soon? You’re just 19.”
“Yes, let’s do it!”
“You won’t be able to manage.”
“Take care.”

And here I am today writing the YEAR BOOK of IDEA.

PILOT STUDY – Launch Idea

Teaming up was done, but before starting official work, a pilot study with an idea launch was necessary — and we did it.

Created the first logo and poster
Checked auspicious dates
Officially launched on June 4th, 2024
Explained everything and answered every query
Redesigned the idea for better clarity

SKILLS – The New Feature

During the pilot study, one question hit us hard: “Why just tutoring? Don’t you teach tech skills? It’s trending, right?” The point wasn’t just adding a new feature; it was the question specifying “tech.” Are other domains not important?

After much research, we introduced a philosophy:

Anyone – Any Skill – Anytime
Everyone has a right to learn in their own way
Masters for every skill, based on the learner’s checklist
Best average price for personalized learning

TEST MARKETING – CBIT

A test marketing phase we could not miss — and our college did not let us down. The CBIT campaign revealed many insights and forced us to rethink certain aspects of the plan.

Huge thanks to the management, instructors, and students of CBIT for their encouragement and trust.

WHAT? – Not a Coaching Institute

The main question we got during test marketing was: “Is it a coaching institute?” This left us a bit frustrated because it’s not — and we didn’t know how to name it.

Then, AI — which knew all about BODH — told us: “It’s a CATALYST.”

But how do you show that, without explaining it every time? That’s what we’re solving now.

BECOMING OFFICIAL – Incorporation

November 9th, 2024. The day BODHIFY ONLINE EDUCATION (OPC) PVT. LTD. came to life.
Not just a name on paper — a commitment.
Not a coaching center — a cause.
Structured. Registered. Ready to scale with soul.

RECOGNITIONS – Stepping Up

Getting recognized under MSME and applying for Startup India wasn’t just a formality — it was a statement.
We wanted BODH to be more than a passion project. We wanted it to be legitimate, accountable, and future-ready.

THE FIRST LEARNERS – Students

Firsts are always the most precious memories.
Anirudh — a young, curious soul who wanted to learn piano — became our very first student. He didn’t just join a class; he trusted us with his learning journey. That trust shaped everything.
Soon, more learners followed — each unique, each choosing BODH over the usual paths. Their curiosity became our fuel.

BUILDING WEBSITE – bodh.eduaction

When we began creating the UI for BODH, we didn’t want it to just look good — we wanted it to feel alive, like the idea behind BODH: rooted, growing, evolving. So, we built it like a tree. Greens for growth and learning, browns for stability and trust. It would not have been this great without the developing team.

And as we grew, our website did too.
The Events Page became a stage to spotlight what we do — workshops, competitions, and webinars.
The Blogs Page became a voice — not just ours, but everyone’s.
Here, anyone can showcase their knowledge, share insights, or express ideas.
Learners, interns, instructors — all are welcome to contribute.

INTERNS – The Joy of Working Together

Even though we had 30+ instructors in the backend, having a six-digit management somewhere felt like empty space. When the interns sparked the room with their light, making a group of 6 into a group of 22, could we be any happier?
Launching the “ScaleUp Internship” was always our best step. Their minute work responses, innocent queries, and fabulous work always made us go AWE!

MICROSOFT STARTUP HUB – The Next Steps

A small yes from a big name — and a quiet nudge that we’re on the right path.
Getting accepted into the Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub was a milestone — not just for the tools and credits, but for the validation it brought. With access to platforms, AI services, and expert resources, we suddenly had more than just belief — we had backing. It gave us the fuel to work more: about automation, smarter learning tools, and AI-driven personalization for students and instructors.

From a spark to a system — and now, a story worth sharing.
One year ago, BODH was just an idea — raw, urgent, and full of questions.
Today, we stand with answers. With real learners. With real work behind us.
This year gave us:
